Open call for guest investigators in the life sciences

Anthropic
Anthropic invites life sciences researchers to apply for an 8-12 week guest investigator program using Claude.

Summary

Anthropic is inviting members of the life sciences community to apply to work with them on special projects. The program seeks proposals from principal investigators and their research groups at academic institutions, nonprofits, or government labs who want to use Claude to investigate key questions in causal human biology, structural and computational molecular biology, medicinal chemistry, drug discovery, and clinical science. Over 8–12 weeks, guest investigators will work directly with Anthropic researchers on a problem of interest and produce analyses, artifacts, and tools. Anthropic will run models and harnesses at no cost. Outputs will be published and open-sourced, with guest investigators retaining rights to their data and any independent follow-on research. Applicants must explain how they would benefit from collaboration, make a reasonable case for producing outputs within the 8-12 week period, and include only publicly available information. Applications are open for approximately 14 days, with notifications about 14 days after closing. This program is part of Anthropic's broader efforts to invest in life sciences, alongside the Life Sciences Verification Program and the AI for Science initiative.
