Industrial policy for the Intelligence Age

As the world approaches superintelligence, OpenAI suggests that incremental policy changes will be insufficient. To foster a necessary conversation, OpenAI has put forth a set of "people-first" policy ideas aimed at increasing opportunities, distributing wealth, and strengthening institutions, with the goal of ensuring that advanced AI benefits all of humanity. OpenAI is actively seeking feedback via email, offering fellowships and research grants, and organizing discussions at their new Washington D.C. workshop to encourage further development and refinement of these ideas through democratic processes.
