Bluesky’s new app is an AI for customizing your feed

Bluesky has launched Attie, an AI assistant powered by Anthropic’s Claude and built on the AT Protocol (atproto). Attie allows users to create personalized feeds using natural language prompts, such as requesting posts about specific topics like “folklore, mythology, and traditional music.” Initially, these custom feeds will be available within a standalone Attie app, with plans to integrate them into Bluesky and other atproto applications. The long-term vision is to empower users to build entire apps on the AT Protocol without requiring coding experience, making the protocol genuinely open to everyone. Attie is currently in closed beta, but a waiting list is available at attie.ai.
