3 new Gemini features are coming to Google TV

Google TV is enhancing its Gemini integration with three new features designed to make exploring content on the big screen easier. The first update provides richer visual help, adapting responses with relevant visuals, videos, and text based on the query, such as showing a live scorecard for sports scores or a video tutorial for recipes. Second, users can now access "deep dives," which are narrated visual breakdowns on educational subjects like technology or health, offering guided follow-up questions for interactive learning. Finally, Google is introducing "sports briefs," providing timely, narrated overviews of major in-season leagues like the NBA and MLB, allowing fans to catch up on highlights without searching their phones. Richer visual help is rolling out immediately in the U.S. and Canada, while deep dives and sports briefs start in the U.S. this week, with broader device support coming this spring. The Gemini for Google TV voice assistant will also expand to Australia, New Zealand, and Great Britain this spring.
