Now everyone in the US is getting Google’s personalized Gemini AI

Google announced on Tuesday that its Personal Intelligence feature, which personalizes Gemini AI responses using data from connected Google apps, is now available to all users in the US. Previously, this feature was exclusive to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers. Users can now access Personal Intelligence through AI Mode in Search, Gemini in Chrome, and the Gemini app. The feature utilizes data from apps like YouTube, Google Photos, and Gmail to provide context without manual prompting, offering tailored recommendations and advice. While opt-in, and currently limited to personal Google accounts, Google assures users they can disconnect apps and that Gemini doesn’t directly train on sensitive data like Gmail inboxes or Google Photos libraries, only on prompts and responses.
