Create personalized “Year of the Fire Horse” musical tracks with Gemini

Google's Gemini app now offers a new feature enabling users to create personalized 30-second musical tracks to celebrate the Lunar New Year, specifically the “Year of the Fire Horse” in 2026. Utilizing the Lyria 3 model, Gemini generates unique songs with custom cover art based on user inputs such as the recipient's name, a personal message, hobbies, and preferred music genre. Users can choose from styles like Mandopop-Trap, Classical pop, and Luk Thung. The feature is initially available in select Asian countries via a banner in the Gemini app, but can also be accessed manually with a specific prompt. The generated songs can then be easily shared on popular messaging platforms.
