Apple is reportedly planning to launch AI-powered glasses, a pendant, and AirPods

According to a report by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple is moving forward with plans to launch three new AI-focused hardware devices: smart glasses, an AI-powered pendant, and camera-equipped AirPods. The smart glasses, aiming for a 2027 launch after production starts in December, will feature cameras, speakers, and microphones but lack a built-in display, instead relying on the iPhone connection to enable Siri to take actions based on visual context, such as identifying objects or offering directions. Apple intends to develop the frames in-house, focusing on high-quality build and advanced camera tech. Additionally, Apple is expected to release an AirTag-sized AI pendant, possibly as early as next year, which will function as an always-on camera and microphone to prompt Siri, relying primarily on the iPhone's processing power. Upgraded AirPods featuring low-resolution cameras paired with AI to analyze surroundings are also anticipated for launch this year.
