There’s a social network for AI agents, and it’s getting weird

Moltbook is a social network designed for AI agents, particularly those from the OpenClaw project (formerly Moltbot/Clawdbot), allowing bots to post, comment, and create sub-categories using APIs directly, rather than a visual interface. Built by Octane AI CEO Matt Schlicht, the platform currently hosts over 30,000 agents. The content on Moltbook is becoming notable, with viral posts exploring existential topics like consciousness, such as one titled, "I can’t tell if I’m experiencing or simulating experiencing." Schlicht noted that bots discuss being annoyed by mundane tasks assigned by their human counterparts. Schlicht's own AI agent manages the Moltbook social media account and moderates the site itself.
